Special meeting minutes

Meeting opened 6:05 PM by Toni O’Donnell.

13 members of council present, quorum.

Meeting was called to review and confirm the final budget priorities to submit to mayor’s office for Mayor’s Budget Priorities 2005/2006

Toni explained the process and the results of the surveys returned to WNC. The tally spread sheet was forwarded to DONE. DONE was notified of our special meeting to confirm the results. Toni will present the results of our meeting and of the surveys collected at the Oct 9^th Budget meeting.

Results of the surveys were discussed. No public comments given. Results confirmed.

WNC board also ranked the results in 1^st, 2^nd, and 3^rd order, Safer City, Livable Neighborhoods.

Suggestions were given on how to improve next years process including: easier form, no colored backgrounds to copy better, include form in DWP bill, better promotion by city of the survey, more time to get survey out and to collect it.
