June 23, 2004

6:10 P.M. Meeting called to order by Toni O’Donnell.
Toni O. introduced self and gave brief statement: “As provided by the
Brown Act, person in the audience may address the committee in connection
with any agenda item or during the public comments period. Anyone desiring
to speak please complete a speaker card and submit it to the secretary.”

6-Report of officers
Chair: Toni O’ gave several reports including inclusionary housing
ordinance.
Co-Chair: Jack Babbitt-no report
Secretary- Lucia Moreno – Correspondence- 6 letters read
Treasurer- Patrick Wilson gave finance report, balance $9,046.48

7-Report of Standing Committees:
Executive Committee: Toni O’ gave report on elections for Member at
Large: Skip Baldwin, Laura Godinez, Jose C Rodriguez and stakeholder
committee elections. All committee heads are asked to turn in their
report on elections to Maricela Caraballo. Dennis McCarbery gave report
on CORO/DONE training.
PCAC: Donna Ethington gave report
Land Use: Skip Baldwin gave report on meeting and introduced Yasmin
Tong for Deputy Advisory Agency Public Hearing Notice for Vesting Tentative
Tract No 61250: Dana Strand on July 14 in LA. Skip concerned that once
again meeting is held in middle of the day in downtown so local residents
won’t be able to attend and be heard. Q&A, public comments
Finance: no report.
Transportation: Donna E gave report, public comment: Art Hernandez
Public Works: Jack Babbitt reported, next Mtg. July 14th 12 noon municipal
bld.
Gateway Beautification: Jack Babbitt said next mtg. July 8th.
By Laws Committee: Maricela Caraballo gave report on meetings she will
attend on behalf of WNC

Residents: Donna E gave report on Marina residents and their situation

Trish announced that DONE us willing to print business cards for council
members
Announcements: Chamber of Commerce Centennial July 17th.
